Initiator by Port metrics
Unisphere collects and displays metrics for initiators (by port).
Within the PM metrics section, V4 is used to denote that the metric is supported only by a storage system (array) running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079). V3 is used to denote that the metric is supported only by a storage system (array) running HYPERMAX OS 5977 or PowerMaxOS 5978. Metrics without the denotation are supported by all storage systems (arrays).
The following table lists all metrics that are available for initiators (by port).

| Bandwidth Limit Exceeded Secs | Sum of the number of seconds that the dir:port:initiator combination was running with maximum quotas. |
| External Read RT | The time that it takes to process a read outside of the system (V4) |
| External Response Time | The time that it takes to process an IO request outside of the system (V4) |
| External Write RT | The time that it takes to process a write outside of the system (V4) |
| Host IOs/sec | A host command for data transfer |
| Host Reads/sec | The number of host read operations performed each second by the initiator (by port) |
| Host Throughput | A cumulative number of host MBs read/writes per second |
| Host Throughput Read'sec | A cumulative number of host MBs read per second |
| Host Throughput Written | A cumulative number of host MBs written per second |
| Host Writes/sec | The number of host write operations performed each second by the initiator (by port) |
| Internal Read RT | The time that it takes to process a read inside the system (V4) |
| Internal Response Time | The time that it takes to process an IO request inside the system (V4) |
| Internal Write RT | The time that it takes to process a write inside the system (V4) |
| Read RT | The average time that it took the system to serve one read I/O for this initiator (by port) |
| Response Time | The average response time for the reads and writes |
| Syscall Count/sec | The total number of calls seen by this initiator (by port) |
| Write RT | The average time that it took the system to serve one write I/O for this initiator (by port) |
